Your mother sounds like a very wise woman. I’m sure you could add many more words of wisdom you’ve learned from her.

Very wise words of advice. I love them. I totally fail at the gaucamole/sangria thing, though.

She sounds like a smart lady! And you’re smart too for paying attention and remembering all these tidbits over the years. Her good advice is universal. My own mama would add, “life is not a fashion show!”
