I love making friends on the World Wide Web. My new friend, Catnip from Catnip and Coffee tagged me for the Four Things Meme. Since I have no particular motivation to think today, I think it’s a perfect day to do it. (Incidentally, Nancie also tagged me for this.. I ain’t doin it twice ladies.. )

Four Jobs I’ve Had

  • In high school, I worked backstage catering for Star Lake Amphitheater in Pittsburgh. It was my job to fill the bands’ Riders or food requests for their dressing rooms. As such, I met and saw a lot of musicians. I saw Sting in his skivvies, made coffee for Jon Bon Jovi and shot hoops with the guys from Spin Doctors.
  • In college, I worked in a buffalo wing bar as a cocktail waitress.
  • I was (technically still am) a private investigator licensed in Virginia. We handled high dollar amount insurance fraud, environmental insurance claims and background checks.
  • Also when I was in college, I was the campus features editor for the Badger Herald. At varying times, I was also a staff reporter and photo editor.
